Rhode Island business leader joins the National Small Business Association Leadership Council in Washington, D.C. to tackle the many critical issues facing small businesses across the country

North Smithfield, RI – Rhode Island Business Owner, Junior Jabbie of Banneker Supply Chain Solutions, Inc., headquartered in North Smithfield, RI, was recently named to the National Small Business Association (NSBA) Leadership Council. The NSBA is the Nation’s oldest small business advocacy organization that operates on a staunchly nonpartisan basis. They are focused on providing valuable networking between small business advocates from across the country while ensuring small businesses a seat at the table as Congress and regulators take up key small business proposals. Jabbie joins other small business advocates from across the country who work tirelessly to promote the interests of small businesses to policymakers in Washington, D.C.

“As President and CEO of one of the largest warehousing, logistics, and supply chain companies in New England, I see daily the importance of being involved and active when it comes to law and regulation” states Jabbie. “Joining NSBA’s Leadership Council will enable me to take our collective small business message to the people that need to hear it most: Congress”.

Junior Jabbie joined the Leadership Council as part of his efforts to address the many pressing issues facing small businesses including tax reform, regulatory restraint, health care costs, and the Affordable Care Act.  His work is in line with NSBA’s core priorities such as closing the worker skills gap, immigration reform, and strengthening SBA lending to its members.

“I am proud to have Junior Jabbie as part of our Leadership Council,” stated NSBA President and CEO Todd McCracken. “He came to us highly recommended and I look forward our coordinated efforts for years to come.”
